Reflecting on Christmas: Thoughts on Healing 4 Years Later

Four years ago, my life changed forever. While I have been very open about what happened to me with people I'm close to from day one, I've never really written publicly about it in great detail, though I've been working on a project I hope to release soon, in the hopes of protecting others. For this reason, I think it's time to put things into specific, graphic detail where appropriate, rather than simply writing therapeutically for my own healing, though this has been very helpful, both for myself and others (thank you again for all the support). Secrets are what allows evil to thrive, so while it's uncomfortable and scary, and not something I've been looking forward to, I think it's time to put more info out there, along with an unexpected update.
